A real estate developer and Chief Executive Officer of OGIC Limited, Fashina Olajide, has commended the current administration of governor Dapo Abiodun for 'providing a favourable condition for real estate business to thrive in Ogun state.'

Fashina said the governor's giant strides in infrastructural developments and the prevailing good ambience made possible by his administration, have continued to attract private investors to consider the Gateway State as preferred destination of choice to invest in real estate.

The OGIC boss reckoned that this informed why private real estate operators and owners in the state are benefitting noticeably from the governor's achievements and conducive business climate he fostered.

He spoke in an exclusive interview with The Daily Crucible in Abeokuta, the state capital.

The realtor stressed that his real estate business is one of the beneficiaries of  Abiodun's administion's encouragement to genuine players in the real estate sector.

He identified provision of a good road network initiated by the governor in different parts of the state as one of the factors encouraging real estate investors to consider the state for investment.

The OGIC CEO noted that one thing that makes real estate to thrive is accessibility, saying that is also where good road network comes into the picture.

"This administration has tried much in improving our network of roads and we looked at most of the modern road projects by the past administration that are being completed by his Excellency, Governor Dapo Abiodun, and also open more new roads.

"The governor empowered the local governments to be able to develop the local lands around their areas which I can say that OGIC is also benefiting with a project we are doing presently.

"Prince Dapo Abiodun victory garden estate is a project that's sponsored by the Abeokuta North Local Government and it's developed by our able company so I can just tell you that if I look at it that generally the governor has done well.

"If we look at it the governor completed the Panseke/Adige roads and you know sometimes we do have a lot of traffic along Olomore road but he has reconstructed it and we now have another internal road network that leads to the place.

"We also have a place the governor is doing along that same Olomore road and I think that has really improved the easy move to the real estate," he said.

Fashina lauded the Governor for his administration's intervention in real estate with housing projects, saying it has helped to narrow the gap between the high and the low income earners access to owning personal property/homes for themselves  in the state.
