Woman Flees After Setting Husband Ablaze In Osun

Detectives from Osun State Police Command are looking for fleeing woman who sets husband ablaze for 'cheating.

The police say efforts are being made to arrest her.

Reports surfaced on Wednesday that the woman fled home after allegedly setting her husband on fire over “infidelity."

Reports further claimed the suspect committed suicide in Osogbo, the state capital, where the incident occurred.

Sources alleged she left an angry note on her WhatsApp stories, saying her man had pushed her “to the edge”.

“I’ve always been a calm girl and I’ve never done this in my life but Teebam has pushed me to the edge,” the alleged WhatsApp note reads.

“At this point y’all will weep over myself and him before daybreak. I’m promising y’all that!!!”

It was gathered that the man lives in Cairo and was on a visit to his home in Nigeria before the arson that killed him.

The Daily Crucible gathered that the woman identified as Akanji Ifeoluwa Haddasah and the husband as Bolu Bamidele while the incident 
happened on July 17 at about 11:30 pm at their home in Koka community, Ibokun Local Government Area.

The Bolu Bamidele was rushed to the Osogbo Central Hospital and later referred to UCH Ibadan but he died before dawn on Tuesday.

However, police are on the trail of the fleeing wife to arrest her.
