The ambition of former State Coordinator of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council Field Operation Department in Ogun State,  Com. Nuberu Adesanya Olufemi, to occupy the chairmanship seat of APC in the State has received a boost from a chieftain of the party in Ogun Central Senatorial district, Hon. Saheed Adeogun.

Adeogun who was an elected former Vice  Chairman, Odeda Local Government Area of the  State, described Nuberu as an experienced and tested politician, loyal party man and mobiliser who has what it takes to lead the Ogun APC  to greater heights.

He spoke with our reporter on Friday, saying the grassroot politician also has the skill and capacity to work for the party's unity.

Adeogun noted that it is the prayers of many that Nuberu's ambition receives the blessings and support of everybody.

"Our great party is a progressive party and our leaders have a tradition of selecting party members to occupy various positions at various levels through arrangement that aligns with democratic ethos and party guidelines.

"We are in support of Nuberu Olufemi's ambition to chair our party at the State level is a welcome development and should be supported. We are also praying that he earns the blessings and support of everybody to actualise his dream.

"Nuberu is a committed party man. I know him very well. He has the knowledge, experience and mobilising potentials to lead our great party in Ogun State and work for its unity,  progress and continued success.

" It is our prayers that whatever arrangements that would be put in place by our respected parry leaders towards selecting and electing State party chairman will work in his(Nuberu) favour," he said.

The Daily Crucible recalls that Nuberu who hails from Ago Iwoye in Ijebu North Local Government Area, Ogun East Senatorial district of the State,  had said that he was vying for the party's chairmanship position to take it to greater heights, foster more unity among members and ensure successes in future elections.

The process to electing the State chairman of the party had already commenced. He had purchased nomination form.  The election ought to have been held on October 2 but shifted to 16th October, this year.

He spoke with newsmen some days ago,  appealing for the blessings and supports of party leaders, chieftains and members towards the actualization of his dream.
