COVID-19 : Ogun Records 17 New Cases, Lagos 283 As Nigeria's Figure Reaches 566

Ogun state has recorded 17 New cases of the Coronavirus. Lagos records 283 while Akwa Ibom recorded 88 as the third wave of the pandemic appeared to be serving a steady rise in new cases in some Nigerian States. 

New cases in Nigeria stood at 566 as of Thursday night, according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

A breakdown of it shows again that Lagos remains the epic centre of the pandemic in the country.

In Ogun State, the summary shows
17 new cases spread across four local governments, Sagamu -6, 
Abeokuta North -4, Obafemi Owode -4 and Abeokuta South -3.

The cumulative case stands at 4843, cumulative discharge of 4672 while 9 are currently on admission in Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital ( OOUTH).

Also, 15 have been newly placed on Home Management care, this, bringing the total to 86.

The State also recorded one new death and a cumulative 59 death cases.
