Tina Bright, who left her husband, Bright Ben, an indigene of Ubima in Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State, to wed their pastor, Pastor Moses Adeeyo, General Overseer of World Bank Assembly, has revealed why she dumped Bright for Adeeyo.

Tina and Moses Adeeyo wedded on August 8 but Bright who got wind of the shocking wedding, sneaked into the church to see things for himself and caused someone to help take photographs of the new couple.

Armed with the photos, he took to his Facebook page to allege that his Pastor, Moses Adeeyo, had snatched his wife from him, crying that the pastor had ruined his marriage of 12 years that was blessed with two children - a boy and a girl.

Bright claimed that since his wife bolted, he had been searching for her and  had even consulted the pastor, seeking counseling on how to resolve the issue.

He described the alleged marriage, “As shameful" and a "true-life story."

“My pastor married my wife. I’ve been married to Mrs Tina Bright for over 12 years, with two children. I introduced her to my General Overseer of the World Bank Assembly in Eneka, Obio-Akpor Local Government Area in Rivers State. We started attending the church and became full financial members.

“My wife was given an immediate appointment (assistant choir mistress) seven months ago. She moved out of the house with our children before I got back from work. I searched everywhere and called everyone, even the general overseer. Unknown to me, the G.O. was the architect of my problems.," he stated.

However, reacting through series of video clips, Tina said she left her matrimonial home to escape routine abuse by her ex - husband, Bright.

Tina said she had lost count of how often the man had locked her inside their apartment and walked away with the key to the dangerous extent that if there was a fire outbreak in the house, there would have been no avenue for her escape.

She described the estranged husband as irresponsible and unwilling to take responsibility of paying the children's school fees and other expenses, lamenting that she was thrown into a huge debt because of his uncaring attitude.

She also alleged that the man threatened to put acid in her cream, to scorch her skin, deface her beauty and did compel her to take oath of fidelity.

She lamented that while her marriage with Bright lasted, no day passed without the man accusing her of infidelity.

According to her, when she could not bear the torturous life any longer, she fled her marital home on November 8, 2020 for Port Harcourt and later moved to Lagos in December of the same year to start life afresh.

She said Pastor Moses Adeeyo was not in the picture when she left Port Harcourt for Lagos, recalling that she surfaced in Port Harcourt in April this year, renounced the oath with Bright and moved on.

Mrs Tina Adeeyo noted that Bright recourse to taking to the social media to splash the wedding pictures with her new husband was not done just to "tarnish the image of an innocent man" only but also to serve as a continuation of his avowed determination to ruin her life for no just cause.

She said: "Bright wants to make me a bad woman on social media. When we were together, he made me incur a lot of debts that I am still paying.

“He accuses me of infidelity and even disallowed me from pursuing my music career. He once told me that there is no marriage between us and that I am just here to take care of his children.

“He promised to make my life miserable, including putting acid in my cream. Now, he’s coming on social media to destroy another man’s name. It is my time to shine.

“He is lying that he doesn’t know my whereabouts. I left his house after he locked me inside the house and kept the keys in his pocket. It was then I packed my things and told him it was over.

“He even told me to leave and that I was only useful for the children. My children got the spare keys, gave them to me and told me to escape at night.

“On the morning of November 28, 2020, I came to the house with a taxi, packed my load and took my children away. I put my children at my mother’s place and went to Lagos to start my life afresh.

“I was never residing with the pastor. He lived on the church premises and I lived in Lagos. Ben kept calling me while I was in Lagos before I blocked his number. He threatened me not to ever marry another person.”

Also,  mother of Tina Adeeyo claimed that her daughter's first husband, Bright Ben, didn't pay bride price when he married her daughter 12 years ago, despite doing the traditional marriage and church wedding.

She alleged that her daughter suffered abuse from Bright and returned home multiple times, but Bright always came back to beg for forgiveness.

“When Bright came to my house to ask for my daughter’s hand in marriage, I saw him as a son and asked if he was a Christian. I took him to the village, according to the tradition. He gave everyone their rights, both men and women, except the bride’s parents. When they told him to come and see us, he said that he’ll see us later,” Tina's  mother said in a trending video.
