Ogun LG Poll : Ladejobi, Odulate, Other APC Candidates Confident Of Victory

Ogun State local government election took off on a peaceful note on  Saturday in most parts of the State with candidates of the All Progressives Congress(APC)  confidently beating their chest that they would secure the 20 local governments and 236 wards of the State.

At Ayepe Eyiwa ward 6, polling unit 3 where Shuaib Ladejobi, the APC chairmanship candidate for Odogbolu local government area voted, voters turned out was impressive even as they also conducted themselves peacefully.

Ladejobi who cast his vote around 10:12am, said he would win convincingly.

He said he had campiagned round the local government to sell his programmes and that of APC, explaining that the emerging feedbacks showed that the Odogbolu people were massively behind him and the party.

Similar experience was noticed at Abuji Olowo polling unit 2, ward 2, Ikenne, where Hon Fakoya Bolanle, Vice -Chairmanship candidate of APC also cast her ballot.

In Sagamu, the APC chairmanship candidate, Afolabi Odulate who voted at his Unit 012, Sabo ward 5,  he was optimistic of victory, saying Sagamu people knew who and what they wanted.

He lauded the Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission(OGSIEC) for its adequate preparation for the exercise that has ensured hitch - free so far while the security agencies were also commended for calm in Sagamu.
