Gazal Assumes Office In Ijebu - Ode LGA, Assures Of Better Days Ahead

The newly elected Chairman of Ijebu - Ode Local Government Area(LGA), Tunde Emilola - Gazal, assumed office officially on Tuesday at the Itoro Headquarters of the LGA,  assuring residents and indigenes of people - friendly progets that would positively lift their socio - economic lives.

Emiola - Gazal said his administration would focus on developmental programmes and replicate in the LGA, people - oriented programmes of the State governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun.

" I promise that we will continue in the stead that his Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun has laid down, we are going to try as much as possible to resuscitate our Infrastructure which were in very bad state before now.

"We are going to try as much as possible to Empower our Youths within our Available resources, we are going to try to make the Environment clean the way it should be, we are going to try beautify Ijebu Ode and make it an Eco friendly Society. This are some of the things we will do within our tenure," he said.

He  implored indigenes and residents of Ijebu Ode Local Government to support his administration's resolve to make positive changes.

"We want the people to cooperate with us and give us some time to settle down. The Governor did also because he took his time  and his blueprint started unfolding, we will begin to unfold our blueprint and I ask them to please be patient as we start this Administration," Gazal said.

He also pleaded with the staff of the LGA   to give the new administration their continuous support saying no government could succeed without the support or co-operation of the career officers.

The resumption of office saw the Acting Head of Local Government Administration (HOLGA), Ijebu Ode Local Government, Mr Phillips Ogunpitan and all  members of staff welcoming the chairman with prayers from christian and muslim brothers respectively.
