Esther Chukwuemeka, The Youngest Lawyer In Nigeria

                              •Esther

She would have been another victim of Nigeria's rigidity and unwillingness to embrace novelty and ingenuity when necessary, had her father not taken the needful steps. Nature endowed her with an IQ that placed her ahead of her time and age, making her to break academic records when she was just a minor.

Welcome to the story of Esther Chukwuemeka, who was barely 15 years old as of the time she wrote her senior secondary school certificate examination.

When the result was finally out, Esther the whizkid came out in flying colours. She then sat for JAMB examination, passed  and was given admission at Abia State University, Uturu,  but denied her quick pursuit of dream course, on the grounds that she was still underaged.

Her ambitious father took up the gauntlet, defied this impediment and sent her to the second most highly populated country in the world, India to read law.

She came out within record time, returned to Nigeria, enrolled for the mandatory Nigeriian Law School examination, went through the rigour and came out tall and fulfilled.

She is one of those just called to the bar with the appellation of a Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.

Barrister Esther Chukwuemeka, 24, is reckoned as  one of the nation's youngest lawyers today.

Esther showed class, courage, focus and brilliance when she braced all odds to pursue a degree in law.
