Ogun State branch of the Pentecostal fellowship of Nigeria (PFN)  has pledged continued support to the State police Command in its efforts to make the State crime free.

The association noted that the crime fighting efforts of the Command are being felt everywhere, even by the criminals across the State within a short time the Commissioner of Police, Edward Ajogun, assumed office.

The State  PFN Chairman, Apostle David Otaru, made this known  when he led a delegation of the Christian body on courtesy visit to Ajogun in his office at Eleweran, Abeokuta, yesterday.

Otaru cited the serial killer in Ogere who had been on killing spree  before the assumption of Ajogun as Police Commissioner but was swiftly neutralized barely one month after.

The Chairman also cited the  robbery suspects that were operating in military uniforms along Ijebu - Ife corridor of the Sagamu-Benin expressway but were recently rounded up.

According to him, with these recorded achievements in recent times, the PFN believed that the State is is safe under the watch of Edward Ajogun.

In his response,  the Commissioner of Police commended them  for the visit and  prayer, urging the delegation not to relent in their prayers and support for the Command as security is everybody’s business.

The high point of the visit was the investiture of Ajogun as PFN ambassador in the State.

Other members of the delegation include Pastor Abatan Israel State advisory council chairman, Rev. Oludimu Ben and other State executives’ officers of the body.
