Who Wins As Five Battle For BBNaija Grand Prize

The die is cast. Expectations run high among the fans and followers of the remaining housemates in the trending Big Brother Nigeria (BBNaija) lockdown reality show.

The rising anxiety and expectations are understandable. Every fan wants his person to clinch the ultimate prize and smiles home richer with N85m.

With Ozo evicted, the contest has become keener by the day as the surviving five - Nengi, Laycon, Dorathy, Neo and Vee, all trudged on in expectations of winning this year edition BBNaija grand prize at this 5th edition of Big Brother Naija.

The Daily Crucible recalls that the show kicked off on Sunday, July 19, 2020  with unveiling of 20 contestants in a blaze of glamour and excitements as the host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, introduced them - one after the other.

Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) season 5 reality show will end on Sunday 27 September, 2020 to climax  with Final / Grand Finale to be held same Sunday 27.

Barely two months down the line, the journey began by 20 contestants comprising 10 men and 10 women at the beginning, has seen the  number thinning out to just five contenders as more and more housemates are evicted by the week.

Here are the survivors. Of the five who deserves to smile home with the ultimate prize ?

Here also are components of the prize including the Grand prize of N30 million, a two-bedroom apartment courtesy of Revolution Plus, top of the range SUV from Nigerian automaker, Innoson Motors, a trip to Dublin with Guinness picking the bill and home appliances from Scanfrost beside other prizes not accommodated here for the time being.

The well endowed Dorathy Bachor is a 24-year-old entrepreneur from Lagos but many of her fans have also taken to the social media to claim she hails from the oil bearing Delta State and they are leaving no stone unturned in wishing her success.

Rebecca “Nengi” Hampson (22), friend of Ozo before his eviction, is an entrepreneur from Bayelsa State, Nigeria and celebrities from that part of the country are praying and building support for to win. 

Victoria “Vee” Adeyele (23) is a musician based in Lagos, Nigeria, is also hopeful of winning.

Olamilekan “Laycon” Agbeleshe is a 26-year-old singer and rapper from Lagos but also has root in Ogun State according to some of his fans. Laycon has lots of goodwill going for him.

Emuobonuvie “Neo” Akpofure (26), popularly referred to as Neo, is a ride-hailing app driver and a Delta State native.
