She described the collaboration which the Gateway State has enjoyed with various groups and organisations since the index case was recorded on February 27 as heartwarming, expressing appreciation for all donations and kind gestures that have been helpful in curtailing the pandemic in the state.

While thanking the leadership of the Rotary District 9110 for its donations of 30 pieces of infrared thermometers, 20 pieces of pulse oximeters as well as  2,000 surgical masks and 2,000 latex examination gloves, among other critical medical supplies for frontline health workers, the Commissioner solicited for continued partnership from other organisations on various areas of interest

In his remarks, the District Governor, Dr. Akeredolu said that Rotary as a body raised funds world over to procure consignment of critical medical supplies to contribute to the combat against the pandemic.
