A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, Nigeria's Federal Capital Territory,  (FCT) has found former Peoples' Democratic Party(PDP) Spokesman, Olisa Metuh, guilty of N400m money laundering charge.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC) brought the charge and seven other charges against the estwhile Publicity Secretary of PDP, alongside his company, Destra investment.

The accusations levelled against them bordered  on criminal diversion of the money received from the office of the former National Security Adviser (NSA), Colonel Sambo Dasuki (rtd).

On Tuesday morning, the trial judge, Justice Okon Abang, in delivering his judgement, held thus: "It is my view that Metuh took possession of the N400 million from the office of the NSA without contractual agreement; he is guilty of money laundering and is hereby convicted on count one.”
