Governor Abiodun's SA On Youth Affairs Visits Peace Corps Nigeria

The Special Assistant to Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State on youth matters,  Lamide Lawal has visited the Ogun State Command of the Peace Corps of Nigeria and assured the Commandant of a better working relationship.

Lamide said the efforts of Peace Corps of Nigeria in youth reorientating, peace building, volunteerism and other social services deserve commendation.

He acknowledged that the Corps is a strategic partner in the actualisation of the philosophy of Governor Dapo Abiodun - led administration in the state which is about 'building our future together'

The Special Assistant assured the PCN Commandant that he would further facilitate better working relationship with the ministry of youth and sports in the state.

Earlier, the Commandant, Patriot Olufemi Akinyemi noted that Peace Corps officers in the state have been living up to expectations and required supports from stakeholders in the state.

He highlighted programmes that have been done in the state and listed the pending ones.

The Commandant equally called for a better working relationship with the Special Assistant and other stakeholders in the ministry of youth and Sports and the Ogun State government.
