Grieving father of the slain final year student of Lagos State University, Ojo,  Mr Daley - Oladele,  after sighting the killers of his daughter, Miss Favour Daley - Oladele, at Eleweran, the Headquarters of the Ogun State Police Command, has advised parents and guardians to pay closer attention to the personality and psychological make - up of their children's friends and associates.

Daley - Oladele who said he couldn't come to term with the fact that Favour who brought  so much bundles of joy with her coming into the family, 22 years ago, after many years of delayed birth, would just be brutally cut down in a gory manner by someone she supposedly knows.

Favour's lover, Adeeko Owolabi, 23, lured her away from Mowe in Ogun State  to a white garment church in Ikoyi - Ile, Osun State, and gruesomely murdered the girl while the pastor of the church, Segun Philip, who prescribed 'taking life' as the catalyst for Owolabi's quick financial breakthrough, ripped Favour open and harvested her heart, breasts and other vital parts.

Pastor Segun later prepared a stew with the girl's parts and fed Owolabi and his mother with the preparation, ostensibly to cure them of poverty. He was said to have collected N210, 000 from Owolabi for the heinous service.

Daley - Oladele described it as "gory," lamenting that his daughter until her murder, was "the golden girl of the family," rueing further that it was emotionally unbearable to lose her few months to  graduation from the Lagos State University, where she was a final year Theatre Arts student.

He said: "It's quite emotional having raised that girl for that number of years. Favour happened to be a golden girl to the family. We waited for some years before having her.

"And having done that, she went to school and when one is envisaging that within the next few years she would be going for National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) and one starts celebrating that you have a graduate in your house, a woman; some people conspired to kill her," he lamented.

"What she actually told us that day was that she was returning to school to prepare for her final examination. She said she is going to join her group and it was in that process that somebody called her. And she said she will also going to see a friend. That was all.

"All what we want is justice for Favour and that will also serve as deterrent for others. It has been very emotional. She is also sick and hospitalized. She is not in good condition.

"This is a gory tale that we will ensure that the full weight of law descends on the suspects. All the suspects are in our detention facility and will be charged to court at the end of the investigation.

"It is instructive to appeal to parents to be vigilant and to profile the psychological make - up of their ward's friends."

The Daily Crucible recalled that Owolabi, allegedly, lured Favour  to Osun State, where he  brutally killed the girl during her sleep by using pestle to smash her head and thereafter, her organs were harvested for 'get - rich - quick' money making concoction.

Police detectives in Ogun State after thorough investigation, arrested Owolabi, the Pastor that aided the killing and Owolabi's mother.

The Police Public Relations Officer in Ogun State, Abimbola Oyeyemi, gave details of what happened.

Abimbola stated: "A self acclaimed pastor of a white garment church, Segun Philip,  42, was arrested together with a 23 year - old boy Adeeko Owolabi over the killing of a final year student of Lagos State University Favour Daley-Oladele.

"The deceased was reported to have left home to an unknown destination since on the 8th of  December 2019 and has not been seen since then, hence she was reported missing by her parents at Mowe Police Station.

"The DPO Mowe division, Marvis Jayeola detailed his crack detectives to unravel the mystery behind the sudden disappearance of the 22 years old girl. The detectives went into full scale technical and forensic investigation of the case and their efforts paid off when the movement of the deceased was traced to a white garment church in far away Ikoyi-Ile in Osun State being pastored by one Segun Philip.

"On getting to the church, the self acclaimed pastor was promptly arrested but he was quick to inform the detectives that the girl was brought to him by her boyfriend, Adeeko Owolabi, who was still within the vicinity of the church. The said boyfriend was traced and apprehended immediately.

"He confessed to the police that the deceased was his girlfriend and that he lured her to Ikoyi-Ile where he has perfected plans with the so-called pastor Segun Philip to use her for money making ritual.

"He stated further that while the girl was sleeping, the pastor gave him a pestle with which he used to smashed the head of the girl and the pastor quickly used a knife to cut off her neck, ripped open her chest and removed her heart which he used in preparing a concoction for him and his mother to eat.

"When asked what pushed him to such devilish act, Owolabi explained that he decided to go into money ritual because things are not going well with his parents economically most especially his mother who used to be the breadwinner of the family; and when he sought for assistance from the pastor, he was asked to bring a human being for that purpose and the available person at that time was his girlfriend.

"The Commissioner of Police,  Kenneth Ebrimson has directed that the suspects be transferred to the Homicide Section of the State criminal investigation and intelligence department for proper investigation.

The CP who described the gruesome murder of the deceased as high degree of wickedness, has vowed to ensure that all the suspects face the full wrath of the law."
