Sallah: Gov Abiodun's Wife Fetes School Children

As a way of making this year's Ileya celebration a joyous and memorable one for children in Ogun State, the wife of the  State Governor; Mrs Bamidele Abiodun, treated over 3,000 school children to a fun filled Eid - el - Kabir party.

The children who were drawn from  the 20 Local Governments Areas of the State had exciting moments at the play ground within the  Governor's Office, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta as the colourful party featured quiz, dance and face painting competitions in addition to cake cutting,  castle bouncing, presentation of gifts among others. 

The First Lady charged the children to be obedient to their parents and teachers, expressibg gratitude to Allah (GOD), for blessing them with wisdom, knowledge and understanding in their faith and education.

Mrs Abiodun noted that Eid - el- Kabir offered a unique opportunity to express gratitude to Allah for the blessings of wonderful Children in Ogun State and His continuous grace. 

She said: "The Ileya celebration is very symbolic and historic, the period teaches sacrifice, faith, confidence, patience and belief in God. We must continue to thank God for the grace to see the celebration. 

 "This is the growing process that best express love to your wards, and do not  relent in making efforts that will ensure proper upbringing and growth of your wards.

"The welfare of these wards and teachers met our cardinals objective as goverment. We will stop at nothing until they get the neccessary support they needed to excel and succeed.

" I Charged you children to be very upright and dutiful in your learning in school. This, will assist in making you fit into the technology driven society that is beginning to emerge."
