Over 12 People, Including Nine Children, Feared Dead In Ibadan Building Collapse 


A dozen of persons, including nine children, are feared dead, others injured  as two storey building located at Bode area of Ibadan, the Oyo state capital, collapsed on them.

The two storey building located at Bode area of Ibadan, The Daily Crucible gathered, crumbled around 5:50pm, raising concern over the safety of the occupants.

This one is coming barely 48 hours after a three story  building collapsed in Ita faaji area of Lagos Island, resulting in deaths and injuries to many.

Sympathizers since have encircled the scene of the collapsed structure, with many of them crying in helplessness.

 Although, some were sighted making frantic efforts to search and rescue some victims out of the rubbles pending when government officials respond to the emergency.

A source said since the incident occurred at a time most residents would have returned home from their daily chores outside, many might have been trapped in the rubbles of the collapsed structure.
